OK, I have no idea how other OSes would have behaved in such a situation, but linux amazed me these days...
The Skrooge team aims at releasing version 0.6.0 on February 6th. To help us ironing any issue that may have slipped out of our attention, we encourage everyone to test our Release Candidate, available from our Download page, and to report them on bugs.kde.org.
Translators may also do their magic, as this means we are in String Freeze.
So, what's to be expected in this upcoming version ?
Hot on the wheels of our friends at KMyMoney, the Skrooge team releases a beta version of the upcoming 0.6.0 release. The goal here is, unsurprisingly, to find as much bugs as we can, and give translators a string freeze period until the final release (targeted for end of January).
Dear Lazyweb,
Can someone remind me if there is a graphical tool that can produce those cool screenshots effects ?
Or is this done only using ImageMagick commands ?
Thanks !
We have been busy over the past few weeks in launching the skrooge website. It doesn't contain much at the moment, but we're working on it. On a side note, I moved all my past blog entries from blogspot on the site also, I hope planetkde won't get it wrong.
Since I got many interesting comments on my last blog on Skrooge usability, I figured out I could once again request your valuable help, dear users, on one of the most difficult part... Let me introduce to you the current "Search and Process" interface :
When we started Skrooge, many moons ago, we decided that it would be
"a personal finances manager for KDE4, aiming at being simple and intuitive"
Now, time went by and many features have been added, and maybe the original statement has been a bit forgotten. We will spend time on refining the application usability, but for that we need your input.
